Caricature of Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. (pronounced /bəˈɹɑːk oʊˈbɑːmə/;^[1] born August 4, 1961) is the junior United States Senator from Illinois and a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Obama was elected as our 44th President. Obama is our first African American President.

Born to a Kenyan father and an American mother, he spent most of his early life in Honolulu, Hawaii. From ages six to ten, he lived in Jakarta, Indonesia with his mother and Indonesian stepfather. A graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School.

I've drawn multiple caricatures of President Obama the first two are from the presidential campaign. I will continue to add new likeness' of him. Sometimes it takes time to capture the essence of a new political leader. A caricature artist can pick up different aspects of a person each time you draw them. In my Obama caricatures there is a similarity. I tend to focus on the eyes of the person which is very important to the likeness. A famous face such as the President will be recognized instantly. My Obama caricatures have a very different approach in each drawing. Of course the black and white pencil sketch was very quickly drawn. The newest color version is rendered more. The next one of my Obama caricatures will probably end up being a digital caricature.
