President Barack Obama Caricature born August 4, 1961 in Hawaii. Barack was junior United States Senator from Illinois and a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Obama was elected as our 44th President of the United States. Barack Obama is our first African American President.
Obama ran against Hillary Rodham Clinton in the 2008 Democratic primary. Obama ran against John McCain of Arizona in the general election of 2008, and Mitt Romney of Massachusetts in 2012.
I’ve drawn multiple caricatures of President Obama the first two are from the presidential campaign. I will continue to add new likeness’ of him. Sometimes it takes time to capture the essence of a new political leader. A caricature artist can pick up different aspects of a person each time you draw them. In my Obama caricatures there is a similarity. I tend to focus on the eyes of the person which is very important to the likeness. Famous faces like the President will be recognized instantly. My Obama caricatures have a very different approach in each drawing. The black and white pencil sketch was very quickly drawn. The newest color version is rendered with more detail. My next President Barack Obama Caricature will probably end up being a digital caricature.
